Ricks’ second collection: an exploration and experimentation in knitwear. this collection embodies conflicting feelings, aspirations and motivation which i experience, and i believe everyone experiences in their 20s. i feel that i am being pulled in all directions and want to allow space to explore all of those facets of myself. it often feels that decisions made now are akin to a life sentence, and that one can only be a singular person. in creating these looks i have been able to explore different parts of myself, this exploration clarifies conflicting identities, with the resultant look being unrecognisable from the initial sketch.
